Trump’s El Paso Rally includes hundreds of people that are protesting against Human Rights, a Women’s March, and people against President Trump’s Campaign Rally. President Trump had planned the rally at El Paso Country Coliseum. The march was hosted by Border Network for Human Rights. On February 11, 2019 El Paso in Texas, U.S.A there was a counter rally which was led by the U.S senate candidate Beto O’ Rourke and there another led by President Trump. At 11:30am, on Monday morning, hundreds of immigrants from Mexico and Latin America went to Casa Del Migrante, located in the city of Juárez, with no items to bring with them. According to El Paso Times, it stated El Pasoans take Twitter to defend the city after President Trump said, “El Paso was unsafe before the border fence went up in his State of the Union.” The people had to leave all their items at home because Trump thought they were a dangerous country.

During the El Paso Rally, there was a Trump supporter that was wearing a ‘Make America Great Again’ cap. The supporter shoved and cursed at BBC’s Ron Skeans. He did it to others wearing Trump supporter items before they had to pull him away. From BBC News, Ron Skeans stated that a “Very hard shove came from his blindside… I didn’t know what was going on.” After the incident, Trump puts a thumbs up for the people to show he was okay.

Eighth grader Marie Pomee states, “The wall doesn’t help with anything. It hurts others, and it makes it worst. The United States is not safe anymore.”

Freshman Ashley Fuentes states on the subject, “I personally don’t like the ides for what Trump wants to do for our country; To make it “great” again. I believe that the rally is a good idea, because at the rally it can allow people to give their true opinion about our president. It also gives an opportunity to be heard and to stand up for what they believe in.”
