CC: The schedule to return books is as follows, unless you need to keep any for a final. On Monday, May 17th, from 1 to 3 PM, juniors will be turning their books in. On Tuesday, May 18th, sophomores will be turning their books in, from 1 to 3 PM. On Wednesday, May 19th, ninth graders will be turning their books in, from 1 to 3 PM. Seventh and eighth graders will be turning their books in from 1 to 3 PM on Thursday, May 2oth. And Friday, May 21st, from 1 to 3 PM will be a make-up day for all grade levels.

CC: In order to check the status of your books, please visit https://destiny.vvuhsd.org, it’ll be in the transcript, and log in using your six-digit-ID without the birth year. [It will be used as your password and username. Ignore a warning that prompts you to change your password.] From there, go to My Info at the top of the screen, and you should be able to see what books you have checked out to you, and what fines you carry.

CC: Yearbooks will be on sale all through next week, but remember, after that, it’s over and they will not be ordering extra books so no pre-order equals no book. Everyone who purchases a yearbook will be made aware of the time for the Yearbook Tailgate Distribution Party. Yearbooks will be distributed on July 28th. And on Monday, check the ‘Class of’ Google Classrooms for digital signing pages, which will be available to everyone.

CC: Seniors should also check ‘Class of 2021’ Google Classroom for important forms like the senior contact form, and the senior district survey (both of which will also be available in the transcript).

CC: They should also check the Gov/Econ Google Classroom for important information regarding senior events, like graduation!

CC: Graduation will take place at Silverado High School, on Tuesday, May 18th, from 5 to 7 PM, although you must show up at 4:30 or earlier. Everyone must wear masks, and stay six feet apart.

CC: But before you can even think about graduation, you must, must, MUST attend graduation practice, which will be at the same place on the same day from 9 to 11 AM, although you must arrive at 8:30. Remember, if you don’t attend, you don’t get to attend graduation, so please be there. Tickets, cords, sashes, medals, etc. will be awarded there and you will not get them at any other time. There is a limit of up to five tickets per person, and you cannot purchase them. There will also be live streaming, the link will be in the description [https://www.c2r.live/universitypreparatorygraduation]

CC: And remember that Monday, May 24th, is the last day of school, and it is a minimum day.
