CC: To start off this week’s announcements, we have the schedules for sports practices.

Baseball, you are at the OLD Cobalt campus, and you can practice on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 1:30 PM to 4 PM.

Softball, you are Monday, Tuesday, and Friday 3 PM to 4:30 PM.

Cross Country Boys, you are Monday through Thursday 3 PM to 4:30 PM, and Girls Cross Country, you are Monday through Friday, 2 PM to 3:15 PM.

And remember, in order to try out, you must have a completed athletic packet and [current] physical on file with Mr. Zimmerman. Packets can be picked up at the front office or [printed] online on the school website. And masks are required and be sure to bring your own water and snacks. Temperature checks and health questionnaires will be done before every practice.

CC: Jaguars, help save a life! There will be a Blood Drive at the school on March 26th from 8 AM to 2 PM in the MPR.  You must be at least 16 years old to donate, and if you are under 17, you must to send your signed parent permission form to [email protected] See the ‘class of’ Google Classrooms for more information.

[Participants must strictly adhere to all state and local safety requirements. Masks are required to be worn at all times, and social distancing guidelines must be followed. To ensure that we don’t have any problems with crowds, appointments are mandatory. To sign up, go to redcross.org, use zip code 92392, and enter the sponsor code: Jaguars. We welcome parents and community members who are willing to give blood in these trying times.]

CC: Alright Jaguars! It’s March, which means for seniors, the deadline for FAFSA [or Dream Act application] is coming up [ON MARCH 2ND, 2021!!!] And make sure to check your portals. [A lot of] UC decisions come out in March.

CC: Please, please contribute to the yearbook padlets so that you can be featured in the book this year.

CC: Jaguars, please help contribute to the High School ASB Snap! Raise Fundraiser starting [from] now until March 28th. The money you donate will help us fund future graduations and events that benefit all students at University Prep.

CC: And, on March 3rd, there’s a SAT School Day for juniors [who signed up.]

CC: Also, Key Club will be having a Panda Express Fundraiser on Friday, March 5th.

CC: Jaguars, there’s also a High School ASB See’s Candy [Easter] Fundraiser now until March 19th.

CC: Seniors and parents, on March 4th, there will be a Board Meeting from 5:30 to 7:30 PM.
